2025/7/7 SMC Co.,Ltd. Medical Tourism Japan Division (Head office: Sapporo, Hokkaido; General Manager: Katsuya Sakagami), which supports the overseas expansion of Japanese medical technology and provides medical tourism services, and PLUSMAN LLC (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yujiro Otsuka), which provides AI program medical equipment and AI drug discovery support technology based on actuarial mathematical modeling technology, have signed a partnership agreement to expand PLUSMAN LLC's AI medical program to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Through this agreement, the two companies will work together to promote the use of AI in research at medical institutions in Vietnam and to meet the growing need for the introduction of Japanese-style medical care in the country, not only by providing medical AI technology but also by considering the deployment of Japanese-style medical care (medical workflows and operational styles practiced in Japanese medical settings). Through the spread of DX (digital transformation) and health tech in the medical field and the international sharing of high-quality medical care, we will contribute to improving the local medical environment and the development of AI technology.

At the 3rd iWT International Wellness Tourism EXPO, I gave a speech entitled "Future Strategy for Inbound Medical Tourism: Policy Direction and Market Outlook from the Field"

With the cooperation of the Hanoi Department of Health, JIMCA and SMC Co., Ltd. will co-host a Japan-Vietnam medical exchange program on June 23, 2025. *The local representative hospital will be "Hanoi Oncology Hospital."
